Domain Research Tool requires Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1.
You can check to see if you already have the .NET Framework 1.1 installed
by clicking Start on your Windows desktop, selecting Control Panel,
and then double-clicking the Add or Remove Programs icon. When that
window appears, scroll through the list of applications. If you see
Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 listed, the latest version is already installed
and you do not need to install it again.
Windows Vista & Windows 7 Notice: Domain
Research Tool must be ran as an administrator in Windows Vista and Windows 7.
To run it as an administrator, install it then right click on the D.R.T.
icon and select Security. From there place a check mark next to "Run
as Administrator" and click "OK". Watch our Vista Setup Video for details on how to get DRT running on Vista.

Important: If you receive an unexpected
error after launching D.R.T. for the first time it means you do not
have the .NET framework installed. If you notice strange menu behavior, it's because you don't have the right version of .NET framework installed. We require the exact .NET framework 1.1 provided at the link above.
