There is a chance that previous D.R.T. domain lists may no longer be compatible with this release.

Our Overture (TM) cached server IP changed and users are no longer able to check cached Overture results. We were unable to issue an immediate update because we were addressing many Windows Vista fixes and the code was not ready. This issue has been addressed in the new release.

A major update is in the works, version 2.0 with many new features. Expect the beta version to be out tonight but it will not self update (you'll need to get it from our site).

Once all the bugs are worked out of DRT 2.0 Beta, we will issue a major update to all the existing users.

We have released a new version of Domain Research Tool (1.4.1). This is a minor update with cached overture lookup support. Overture suggestion tool no longer returns valid results (all lookups come back as "No results found for...". D.R.T. can still perform lookups by querying the Overture cached DB hosted on our servers which contains several billion cached records, allowing our customers to continue checking typein and term scores for domains.

At this time D.R.T. is the only tool that can still check Overture (typein) rank. Proxies are no longer required and scan speeds are limited to 50 domains per second.
